We are seeking a skilled motivated and quality-focused Sous Chef to join the culinary team of a reputable 4-star hotel in Dubai. This role is ideal for a hands-on culinary professional who thrives in a structured hotel kitchen environment and is passionate about delivering consistent high-quality food for international guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist overseeing daily kitchen operations
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth workflow during service
- Ensure food preparation and presentation meet hotel quality standards
- Maintain consistency in taste portioning and plating
- Enforce food safety hygiene and HACCP standards at all times
- Monitor kitchen cleanliness organization and equipment use
- Assist with staff training scheduling and performance monitoring
- Coordinate closely with the service team to ensure timely food delivery
- Support menu planning cost control and waste reduction initiatives
- Step in to lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef in a hotel environment
- Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
- Good knowledge of international and hotel-style cuisine
- Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Fluent in English
- Flexible to work shifts weekends and holidays
Salary & Benefits:
Basic Salary: AED 5200 per month plus Service Charge
