Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled motivated and quality-focused Sous Chef to join the culinary team of a reputable 4-star hotel in Dubai. This role is ideal for a hands-on culinary professional who thrives in a structured hotel kitchen environment and is passionate about delivering consistent high-quality food for international guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist overseeing daily kitchen operations
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth workflow during service
  • Ensure food preparation and presentation meet hotel quality standards
  • Maintain consistency in taste portioning and plating
  • Enforce food safety hygiene and HACCP standards at all times
  • Monitor kitchen cleanliness organization and equipment use
  • Assist with staff training scheduling and performance monitoring
  • Coordinate closely with the service team to ensure timely food delivery
  • Support menu planning cost control and waste reduction initiatives
  • Step in to lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef

Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef in a hotel environment
  • Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
  • Good knowledge of international and hotel-style cuisine
  • Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Fluent in English
  • Flexible to work shifts weekends and holidays

Salary & Benefits:

Basic Salary: AED 5200 per month plus Service Charge
