We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to join our team in Al Ain United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing bridges and structures maintenance projects ensuring efficient execution and adherence to safety standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules timelines and budgets for bridge and structure maintenance projects
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including engineers contractors and government officials
- Monitor project progress and report on key performance indicators
- Ensure compliance with local building codes regulations and safety protocols
- Organize and facilitate project meetings documenting and distributing minutes
- Manage project documentation including contracts change orders and technical specifications
- Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment for maintenance projects
- Collaborate with the engineering team to address technical issues and implement solutions
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and identify potential risks or challenges
- Support the development of project proposals and cost estimates
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in project coordination preferably in civil engineering or construction
- Proven experience with bridges or structures maintenance projects
- Proficiency in project management software Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling tools
- Strong knowledge of bridge and structure maintenance techniques
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the UAE
- Understanding of safety protocols in construction and maintenance projects
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
