The primary purpose of the job is to manage the proposals in collaboration with Regional Sales and proposals team to deliver the proposal on time to meet customer expectations. Lead the whole cycle from getting the RFQ from Sales Team till closing out all technical points.
This role will be reporting to the MSOL Proposal Manager to collaborate with key collaborators to respond optimally to quote requests.
In this role your responsibilities will be:
- Main point person of the regional sales in leading quality and timely project proposals
- Will be responsible in leading and advising the RFQs and the proposals generation of the region with Proposals team from Pune including prioritization & proposal strategizing with the regional sales
- Will drive & own the achievement of the critical metrics for the region in coordination with MSOL Project Proposal Manager including report preparations and presentation service level conversion hit rate quality of proposals clean order
- Work with front sales team BDMs Product team on the RFQs and drive the following process:
- Review and lead inbound project RFQs then review with regional sales on strategy and prioritization
- Develop own and complete Strategy about products selection along with BDM/PG/Sales Team
- Collaborate with and support with wider Saudi Team work closely with Emerson MIPC proposals generation team to ensure all offers reflect customer needs competitively priced and are submitted on time.
- Lead the RFQ commercial review in coordination with sales and BDM including the BNB preparation and proposal strategy
- Accountable for RFQ Prioritization critical issue process
- Accountable for the commercial aspects of the TQs including ensuring the required collaboration and timeliness of coordination in relation to the TQs
- Responsible for the alignment of commercial aspects of other BUs to MSOL proposals
- Participate positively into the proposal development process with historic data on AUP/Buyout pricing
- Ensures CRM is updated with Win/Lost/Cancelled Status for the region
- Develop know-how about regions key customers technical standards and Approved Vendors List. Make sure in all proposals these standards are met.
- Collaborate with Emerson sourcing team to develop local suppliers. Prequalify customer requests for quotation to ensure that a quote will meet the customers application and operational needs and explore opportunities for additional products or services.

For this job you will need:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in engineering preferably Electronics or Instrumentation.
- Confirmed experience in proposals within instrumentation control industry
- EPC & Regional transactions experience is an advantage
- Coordination & negotiation skills
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
