- Hotel Overview br Fairmont The Palm is a luxury world-class resort located on the iconic Palm Jumeirah Island in Dubai The hotel features 391 guest rooms and suites with dedicated Fairmont Gold rooms and lounge A total of 11 food and beverage outlets on property offer international dining options including Little Miss India Frevo - Brazilian
- Churrasco experience Seagrill Bistro Ba Restaurant and Lounge Blowfish Flow Kitchen The Cigar Room Vuvuzela and others Fairmont The Palm also features an expansive pool and beach area with a health club Willow Stream Spa and the Fairmont Falcons Kids Club br Key Room Attendant br Ensuring we provide the highest level of cleanliness in our Guestrooms and Public Areas br Responsibilities br Overall cleaning of the guestrooms to include but not limited to dusting making beds soiled linen removal from rooms and retrieval of clean linen from linen closets vacuuming bathroom cleaning inside window cleaning replenish rooms with supplies etc as per Fairmont standards br Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment br Take accurate room status reports at the end of the shift br Inspect all rooms assigned including show rooms br Keep linen closets supply closet and landing organized and clean br Empty vacuum cleaner each time it is nearly full br Reports any problems or questions to Supervisor assigned to your floor br Offer assistance to guest and colleagues in a courteous manner br Use hands to lift carry or pull objects that may be heavy br Understand simple instructions learn simple procedures and techniques br Perform routine work or the same task daily br To use the cleaning in progress sign and keep the doors closed at all times when making up rooms br To call room service for removal of trays trolleys br To report instantly and turn over to security any lost and found items br To be responsible for reporting any rooms which do not require service DND not slept in on assigned floor br To report to Floor Housekeeper any mattress protector blankets bedspreads valances in need of change br To report any equipment malfunctioning br To report any suspicious persons to Housekeeping office or security br To report anything which may be a Health amp Safety hazard br Maintain excellent grooming and uniform standards br Read Understand and follow all department policies br Qualifications br High School diploma vocational training and or 1 year work experience br Fluent in English written amp verbal essential br Previous experience in luxury hotel environment br Friendly and pleasant disposition with people interaction skills br High level of personal cleanliness and grooming br High level of energy with a great eye for details br Natural leader and an independent personality br Visa
