Senior Accountant

Location: Dubai United Arab Emirates
Salary: AED 10000 AED 12000 per month

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be a friendly selfdriven and confident individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. This role demands expertise in financial management attention to detail and the ability to support a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the financial accounting processes including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports such as balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop and monitor budgets ensuring cost efficiency and timely execution.
• Perform periodic reconciliations of bank accounts and financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and maintain a record of all project finances preparing for internal/external audits and tax submissions.
• Support monthend and yearend closing processes ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Conduct cost analysis identifying areas for potential savings without compromising quality.
• Build strong working relationships with vendors suppliers and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on local regulations and financial compliance standards implementing best practices in accounting processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and confident demeanour.
• Selfmotivated proactive and adaptable in a fastpaced environment.
• Positive individual who complements the workplace culture and encourages collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• Experience in the construction architectural or related industry is advantageous.
• Familiarity with UAE financial regulations and practices.
