Our client is a leading distributor established in 2002 in Dubai UAE. They specialize in sales marketing and logistics within the FMCG sector in the Middle East. They manage multinational brands across various channels and categories focusing on brand building and awareness.
They are currently on the lookout for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team in Dubai.
Position Overview:
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team and driving revenue growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies. This role involves managing key customer relationships analyzing market trends and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager will oversee the daily sales operations train and mentor the sales team and ensure that the sales goals are met or exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets and market growth.
Promotion activities weekly per brand per retailer
Analyze market trends competitors and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Listing new items with key retailers in monthly basis and opening new customers.
Searching for new brands to be added to company portfolio.
2. Team Leadership and Management:
Lead coach and manage the performance of the sales team. daily inmarket coaching for the sales team and merchandizers.
Set clear sales objectives provide feedback and conduct regular performance reviews.
Recruit onboard and train new sales team members.
Generating planogram and roadmap for the brands.
3. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Negotiate and close deals with clients ensuring customer satisfaction. strong BDA negotiator.
Address customer concerns and provide solutions to enhance client retention.
4. Sales Operations:
Oversee the daytoday operations of the sales department ensuring efficiency.
Monitor sales metrics generate reports and present performance to senior management.
Manage the sales budget and ensure costeffective strategies.
Managing ROI per activity.
Managing daily returns from clients.
5. Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and new sales opportunities.
Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales tactics as necessary.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Collaborate with the marketing department to align sales and promotional activities.
Work closely with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of household goods.
6. Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare accurate sales forecasts budgets and activity reports.
Maintain uptodate records of sales activity customer interactions and contracts.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field.
Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in the household goods and DPH.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel as required
Excellent Driver visiting the 7 emirates monthly.
Hardworking and ability to work under pressure.
