Role And Responsibilities
- Provide advanced medical care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Perform thorough and accurate patient examinations and assessments
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborate with ICU team members, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay current on advancements and developments in the field of intensive care medicine
- Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Critical Care Medicine
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Intensive Care Consultant or similar role
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Valid medical license and ability to practice in the state
