ELV BIM MODELER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The purpose of the job of an ELV (Extra Low Voltage) BIM Modeler is to utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology to create detailed and accurate 3D models specifically for ELV systems within building projects. ELV systems typically include security systems communication networks audiovisual systems and other low voltage installations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for ELV systems including security systems communication networks audiovisual systems and other low voltage systems.
• Collaborate with ELV engineers designers and other project stakeholders to integrate ELV designs into overall building and site plans.
• Ensure BIM models accurately represent ELV design intent and comply with project specifications and standards.
• Perform clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks to identify and resolve conflicts between ELV systems and other building elements.
• Generate accurate drawings and documentation from BIM models for construction and installation purposes.
• Support project teams by providing BIM expertise conducting model reviews and assisting with project coordination meetings.
• Stay updated with industry standards BIM best practices and technological advancements related to ELV systems and incorporate them into workflows.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 57 years of experience as an ELV BIM Modeler in a design consultancy environment within the GCC region.
• Proficiency in Revit software for BIM modeling; strong skills in AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Solid understanding of ELV systems including security telecommunications audiovisual and other low voltage systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings specifications and design requirements.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
• Candidates who are locally available in the UAE are preferred.
• Can join immediately.
