Your day to day
You responsibilities are:
- Assist in the implementation of the operating standards and train hosts in how to carry out the tasks
- Ensure that all employees establish a rapport with guests. Handle all guest requests and enquiries on food, beverage, and service.
- To be ensure all voco Food & Beverage standards are in place.
- To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all Food & Beverage items in the menu and the ability to recommend Food & Beverage combinations and up selling alternatives.
- To ensure that the place of work and surrounding areas are kept clean and organized at all times.
- To ensure that the team projects a warm, professional, and welcome image.
- To assist in identifying training needs and discuss training plan programs for the employees with the Assistant Outlet Manager or Outlet Manager.
- To ensure that the outlet employees are Multi Skilled and have the necessary skills to perform their duties through consistent training in accordance with the Annual Training Plan.
- To liaise and inform the Assistant or outlet Manager of all training sessions.
- To ensure that all employees maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
- Understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the e Hotel’s policy on Food Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
What We Need From You
- 3 years related experience including at least 1 year in same capacity or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills.
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in a “lounge” environment is an advantage.
- A naturally outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for service excellence to consistently deliver and demonstrate voco™ service standards
- A true “team-player” mentality and flexible attitude towards a diverse set of tasks
- Excellent communication skills
