Desktop Support Technician

In this role, you will serve as the point of contact for team members seeking assistance with technical issues. You will set up laptops, perform remote troubleshooting, walk colleagues through the problem-solving process, coordinate with vendors, and perform system updates. This is a full-time, permanent, flexible role based in Irving, TX.
Requirements
Must Haves
- At least 2 years spent in a technical support role in a personal computing environment or IT organization
- Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (specifically Office 365), Windows 10 & preceding platforms, and Active Directory or related software
- Demonstrated ability identifying the cause of processing problems, conducting meaningful research, establishing corrective actions, and ensuring proper documentation
- Strong understanding of computer system hardware principles & procedures and IT security systems (firewalls, password protection, authentication, site-specific controls on physical computer access)
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills with an ability to explain complex problems and propose solutions to both technical & non-technical audiences
- Stellar time management and organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma
