Tax Analyst

We require a TAX Analyst for our operations in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 – 6 years of experience in different legal and regulatory systems. He will be involved in VAT Impact and Readiness assessments for both tax administrations and taxpayers and be closely involved in VAT implementation projects in the GCC region. The candidate will be degree qualified and should have a proven background in in VAT/Indirect tax within an organization with a global footprint experience and high value VAT work would be ideal. The candidate will be from a Practice background, ideally qualified but not necessary and will be keen to further develop their career. Duties and responsibilities include: - Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service - Detection and evaluation of risks as well as opportunities regarding respective tax issues - Maintaining a strong working knowledge in respect of all areas of VAT, including keeping up to date with the appropriate legislation and developments in law - Advice on all aspects of value added tax to the client as well as ensuring the organization to be up-to-date on changes in tax legislations - Identify and execute new processes to improve indirect tax compliance - Being the Key relationship holder for Middle East VAT - Ensuring that all financial accounting standards are considered and recognized to meet all areas of compliance and audit guidelines. - Research into VAT savings for clients and identifying exposure in respect of VAT
