Job Description

- Directs and participates in the work of female and male nursing staff. Includes ensuring strict compliance with physicians' instructions, attending to patients requests and complaints, ensuring proper administration of medications, carrying out pre treatment basic tests and completing medical charts, assisting physicians in emergency cases, and applying dressings.
- Directs and checks the work of janitors and ensures proper housekeeping in the clinics. Includes ensuring the availability and laundering of linen, cleaning of floors and surroundings with antiseptic chemical solutions, ensuring the cleaning and sterilization of medical and surgical instruments, removal of refuse and assisting patients as required.
- Ensures the ordering and continuous availability of usable and disposable items at the inpatient and outpatient sections. Includes clinical bed covers, syringes, gloves, etc. Maintains and updates relevant records. Also ensures serviceability of medical equipment, and reporting malfunctions to Supervisor.
