The ability to review / assess technical Specification, BOQ (Bill Of Quantity) and Drawings to determine suitable vendors and suppliers.
• The ability to prepare inquiry documents about commercial standards, technical specifications, BOQ’s and Drawings, as per Company requirements.
• Responsible for obtaining quotations through conventional practices (emails) and E-Procurement (online Bidding)
• To review vendors and suppliers quotations to determine best price and delivery date.
• To review quotations of identified technical and commercial specifications received from the vendors and suppliers.
• To prepare & issue purchase orders in accordance with selected suppliers, price, technical specifications and end user approval
• Responsible for investigating qualitative and quantitative discrepancies between goods ordered and goods received.
• The ability to assess, analyse, and compare bids, and quotations.
• The ability to generate reports upon request.
• The ability to follow and achieve the key performance metrics and benchmarks decided by management
• The ability to create and follow a Project procurement Plan to fulfil the project requirement and meet the project delivery date.
• Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience within a procurement/purchase department
• Should have relevant experience in Fit-out/Facilities projects and its commercial terms & conditions
• Must be knowledgeable in Local and International Purchasing
• Proficient computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
• Fluency in written and spoken English Language
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills
• Must be knowledgeable in planning and forecasting systems.
• Has understanding of integrated supply chain concepts.
