- Review and monitor the performances of existing manufacturing facilities in the Ethylene Oxide and Propylene Oxide value chain using key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operability, profitability, reliability, energy efficiency, and process safety.
- Issue quarterly process unit performance benchmarking reports highlighting KPIs, analysis, and performance improvement recommendations.
- Monitor and support facilities in implementing the recommendations and closing performance gaps identified in the benchmarking reports.
- Optimize the performance of producing units in the Ethylene Oxide and Propylene Oxide value chain through in-depth plant monitoring and oversight.
- Conduct benchmarking and best practices exchange workshops among Global Manufacturing facilities with relevant process technologies.
- Provide technical advisory support to Global Manufacturing facilities on matters related to plant operation and process design improvements, issuing service reports for each support activity.
- Coordinate and drive Global Manufacturing and Corporate programs to the operating facilities for execution and effective monitoring.
- Participate in Business Plan development and coordinate with stakeholders for capital investments in assigned process units.
- Participate in hazard operability (HAZOP) and safety integrity level (SIL) studies as required by operating facilities.
- Participate in incident investigation activities related to the Ethylene Oxide and Propylene Oxide value chain.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for unit operations, investigate off-spec products, and manage deliverables during turnarounds and unplanned shutdowns/startups.
- Perform process parameters gap analysis and benchmarking among Global Manufacturing facilities with relevant process technologies to share best practices, lessons learned, areas for improvements, and technical recommendations.
- Conduct benchmarking and best practices technical exchange workshops among Global Manufacturing facilities producing chemicals in the Ethylene Oxide and Propylene Oxide value chain based on Benchmarking & Best Practices Exchange Agreements.
