Our client is looking to hire and experienced Senior Manager Global Learning and Student Life, who will lead the development and execution of the Global Learning and Student Life program at the Dubai campus. This includes program design, strategic decision-making, and resource management for various student activities, including industry learning, cultural exposure, conferences, community engagement, sports, and leadership development. This role is pivotal in creating a vibrant and enriching student experience.
Key responsibilities:
1. Event Design and Strategy:
- Conceptualize and design engaging events for the Global Learning and Student Life program, aligning with the preferences and interests of diverse student groups.
- Develop comprehensive event strategies that integrate industry learning, cultural exposure, professional conferences, community engagement, sports activities, and leadership development.
2. Operational Efficiency and Continuous Improvement:
- Implement efficient event planning processes to ensure seamless execution and maximum impact.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance event management practices for optimal outcomes and participant satisfaction.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and support for event initiatives.
4. Program Execution and Assessment:
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of events, including workshops, industry interactions, cultural experiences, and community engagement activities.
- Evaluate event success and gather feedback for continuous improvement and refinement of future programs.
5. Budget Management:
- Strategically allocate resources to ensure the successful execution of events while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Exercise strong budgeting knowledge to optimize resources and enhance event quality.
6. Logistics and Support:
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue booking, communication of trip details, and transportation arrangements.
- Provide comprehensive support to guarantee smooth event operations.
7. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate contact lists, attendance records, and databases of event pictures and summaries.
- Prepare and submit timely reports and communications, including newsletters and email updates.
8. Sporting Equipment Management:
- Oversee the management of student sporting equipment, ensuring availability and proper maintenance for sports-related activities.
Qualifications: Master s Degree
Experience: - 6 to 8 years
