Our client is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Project Assistant position in the Commercial Real Estate/Land Use Department in Tampa, Florida.

The successful candidate will have an interest in the area of land use planning. They will learn the technical knowledge of land use, zoning and legal concepts related to development and planning activities with City and County government. In addition, this individual will gain experience in the review and processing of various land use applications.

Requirements:

Minimum of one year experience in a professional office environment
Candidates who have a two-year paralegal degree or certificate
Previous experience in one or more of the following are preferred, but not required:
Government agencies (federal, state and/or local)
Working with developers or builders
Planning activities with City and County government
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional demeanor
Excellent customer service skills
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Strong presentation skills
Strong working knowledge of MS Office including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
