Research Associate

1. Collaborate with researchers and labs technicians in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of research projects;

2. Produce high quality research papers;

3. Assist with providing practical training during workshops related to the scientific / research field;

4. Liaise with equipment suppliers regarding procured equipment technical specifications;

5. Maintain confidentiality of information at all times;

6. Analyze pharmacometabolomic datasets;

7. Manage and conduct pharmacogenomic cutting-edge research projects;

8. Integrate multi-omics data, including genetics, metabolomics, and genomics;

9. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of pharmacometabolomics and pharmacogenomics;

10. Cooperate with multidisciplinary research teams;

11. Supervise students and other personnel in the laboratory to coordinate research efforts for increased efficiency; participate in training of fellows, research assistance, students, and visiting research personnel as needed;

12. Apply & secure funds from local & International agencies;

13. Produce scientific progress/final reports and contribute to preparing research and grants/funding applications;

14. Perform other tasks as necessary.
