QA QC In-charge - Machine Shop

Job Purpose: Formulate, document and maintain Quality Control standards and on-going quality control Objectives. Develop and implement inspection and sampling techniques, and Quality Assurance plans for the Company. Key Accountabilities:  Collaborate with the higher management team to set quality benchmarks  Inspection of machined parts and execute tests to check final product adherence to the company standards.  Customer communication /interaction and submission of CAPA. Form CFT to Analyze and initiate corrective and preventive Actions  Quality control and daily quality management of precision machine shop. Supervise activities related to calibration of equipment in order to maintain equipment as per the govt. standards.  SPC, MSA, Root cause analysis & corrective action  Record findings and relay this information to the production team  Brainstorm ideas to increase productivity and performance of the production line while maintaining accuracy in quality  Create standards in accordance with industry standards and customer expectations  Evaluate Supplier's Quality Systems and processes in order to identify right supplier for the business in terms of Quality requirements  Inspection of incoming raw materials / subcontracted items  In-process (stage - wise) inspection  Preparation of QC documents and their proper filing  Preparation of 'Letter of Conformity' & NCR  Calibration of instruments and recording the results  Reporting, analyzing and suggesting remedies for non-conforming goods  Providing technical assistance for interpretation of customer drawings  Develop and implement SOP / Work instructions  Ensure the adherence to Quality norms for raw material & finish products  Communicate the standard to the work force  Guide the work force to the correct operation of processes and machines  Provide all technical support (design, calculation etc.) for machine setup  Verify, refine, suggest changes to design for manufacturing purpose  Design components and prepare shop drawings when necessary  Trouble shoot and suggest corrective action for customer complaints  Backup support during client's inspection Knowledge Skills and Experience:  Qualification: Requires Degree in Mechanical Engineering  Experience: Minimum 10 Years of total experience in Machine Shop –Oilfield jobs.  Standards -ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001: 2015 & ISO 45001: 2018 and API
