JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Use appropriate strategies to purchase the needs of the organization at reasonable prices.

2. Discover suppliers, initiate contracting, and create business and organizational partnerships.

3. Negotiate with sellers to secure favorable price and quality terms.

4. Approval of the request for the necessary goods and services from the different departments.

5. Finalize the details of purchasing orders and delivery.

6. Examine and test existing contracts and ascertain contract renewal dates.

7.Follow up on requirements and submit reports on purchases and requirements.

8. Collaborate with different departments to ensure clarity of requirements and budgets.

9. Building and developing the purchasing department, setting purchasing plans and drawing up policies and procedures.

10. Presenting the needs of each department of raw materials and setting the appropriate budget.

11. Building and developing an annual plan for the requirements of the necessary raw materials.

12. Constant search for new suppliers of raw materials used in manufacturing or operation.

13. Building, developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

14. Make a periodic plan at the end of each year and update policies and procedures.

15. Building the various structures and models used in the Procurement Department.

16. Maintain files of internal and external purchase requisitions, quotations and contracts.

17. Constant communication with warehouse management regarding stock shortages, warehouse capacity and stock turnover.

18. Preparing incoming orders from different departments, sending them to approved suppliers, and following them up until receiving them.

19. Reviewing suppliers' offers and responding to them affirmatively or rejecting them.

20. Monitor changes that appear on the prices of raw materials periodically.
Liaise with the party requesting the goods and follow up the required materials at the right time and in the appropriate manner.

SKILLS:

1.High ability to plan.

2. High ability to communicate in English and Arabic.

3. High ability to conduct negotiations.

4. Good knowledge of procedures for drafting contracts, commercial correspondence and concluding commercial deals.

5. Proficiency in the use of MS Office programs and the use of the Internet.

6. Proficiency in dealing with the work team.
7. The ability to prepare reports periodically.
