Public Transport Services Expert

• Report to the Project Manager on project status including identifying associated risks and is-sues arising from the project delivery.
• Project technical development and team leadership
• Report writing, supervision and quality control

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent or Certified licensure related to Task beyond Qatar Engineering Registration.
• Minimum working experience of 20 years in Public Transport Services (Planning, Master Plan-ning, Design and Operation of which 5 years are in GCC.

Your profile:

• Must lead the technical work for at least 3 projects in similar to the nature of Public Transportation project.
• Several years of professional experience in senior managerial roles.
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal, are essential to success in this role.
• Analytical thinking & problem-solving skills
• Background in Transportation and Consulting projects and knowledge and/ or experience in public transport including different modes such as buses, trains, trams, trolleybuses, taxis, ride-hailing services, metro services, automated people mover (APM), cable cars, marine transporta-tion (water taxi and ferries), and rapid transit (light rail transit (LRT), bus rapid transit (BRT)), and any other innovative public transport mobility solutions.
• Background in field surveys related to public transport.
• Background in transport simulation modellingExcellent public speaking and presentation skills
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Advanced knowledge in MS Office Applications, MS Teams and Share Point Online.
