Principal Tunnel Ventilation Engineer

Managing, coordinating and leading tunnel ventilation projects from concept right through to construction in support of technical, safety, commercial and legal standards;
• Implementing your career experience to lead analysis and develop innovative designs, meeting our client's expectations;
• Ensuring projects are delivered in-line with estimated schedules and budgets;
• Influencing, negotiating and managing effective professional relationships with clients, authorities and external stakeholders alike;
• Ongoing supervising, training and mentoring of entry-level and experienced tunnel ventilation engineers on technical and safety matters;
• Collaborating with a selection of disciplines within the tunnel systems team and broader, multidisciplinary design team throughout the WSP business;
• Collaborating with other leaders on projects, in which the internal project lead may sit in another team, or joint venture affiliate firm, and;
• Demonstrating willingness and flexibility to visit and work from client/project offices and travel as and when required, locally and at times interstate.
