- Supervises the activities of assigned personnel. Performs supervisory duties and exercises financial authority at the level established by Management for the position.
- Provides the patients with commonly prescribed medicines. Includes proper preparation of packing, instructing the patient as to the proper use of the medicines both verbally and in writing.
- Ensures continuous supply of medicines and other related items after consulting the Manager, Medical Centre. Includes obtaining required quantities and qualities from the Stores of the Ministry of Public Health or private suppliers, preparing the requisition forms and other related formalities. Monitors stocks and ensures adequate and regular supply of different items to avoid any sudden shortage. Follows up on the expiry dates of medicines and ensures that only valid ones are in stock.
- Supervises the preparation of doctor kits and first-aid kits or boxes. Includes ensuring that the kits or boxes are up to the specified standards and that sufficient quantities on the specified standard items are included and certifying the kit.
