- Responsible for dispensing prescriptions for primary healthcare patients by following pharmaceutical policies and procedures.
- Ensure patient satisfaction by providing prompt and efficient pharmaceutical services.
- Responsible for contacting Procurement & Materials relevant stakeholders for medication supplies when required.
- Instruct patients on how and when to take a prescribed medication, provide pharmacological information to them and answer all their relevant questions and requests.
- Check prescribed doses by Physicians / Dentist and ensure all medications are labelled correctly.
- Answer questions and provide information to patients on drug interactions, side effects, warnings and storage conditions.
- Obtain knowledge about drug-drug interactions and drug-food interactions and therapeutic effects and adverse effects of the drugs & nutritional products.
- Meet with pharmaceutical sales representatives to answer questions regarding the primary healthcare center and corporate policies.
- Control and monitor the use of all narcotic, tranquilized and poisonous medicines, and ensure their validity for use.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with COMPANY'S primary healthcare pharmaceutical policies and procedures.
- Monitor and communicate any discrepancies with drug products and supplies to Corporate Office Procurement & Materials department.
- Ensure all pharmacy required documentations pertaining to the prescriptions and inventory supplies are well maintained.
