Operations Manager

• Strong English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken)
• 8 -10 years of experience, out of which 5 years in a managerial role in the real estate industry
• Bachelors in Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline

Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to the mall maintenance team, ensuring the smooth functioning of all operations.
• Core responsible for all facility management activities and installation and maintenance works.
• Prepare the ppm for maintenance for mall assets. Monitor and ensure the ppm work was done as per scheduled.
• Responsible to provide the utilities to the new shops.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the Salalah Gardens Mall.
• Responsible for design and implement an energy management program for ensuring the optimal and cost effective usage of energy such as water (Normal & irrigation) and electricity consumption.
• Responsible for landscape maintenance in and around the mall.
• Monitor and control operating expenses, develop and maintain budgets, and ensure compliance with URC’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure the safety and security of the malls and implement emergency response protocols as needed.
• Supervise and manage shopping mall operations incl. property management, tenant management, customer service, contract services such as Facility management, cleaning, security, maintenance, etc.
• Ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the SGM mall, facilitating good environment for tenant’s business activity and pleasant environment for customers.
• Responsible for installation and monitor for all shops fitout as per URC’s guidelines.
• Responsible for plan and coordinate all MEP & IT and Safety installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments.
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
