Neonatal Nurses / Pediatric Nurses / Midwives

We are a Spa and wellness center focused on infants, helping facilitate their own development through exploration and play. We provide a sanctuary to ease neonates into their new world and support their overall development, while also supporting parents as they adjust to their new roles. A visit to our wellness center includes both water and massage therapy for babies from birth to 9 months. Thus, we prioritize baby care above all other things. We are looking for neonatal nurses, pediatric nurses, midwives, or nurses that have experience with babies to join our team. We are aware that dealing with babies is a very high-stress job. Thus, we are interested in hiring nurses who handle stress well and who have a positive attitude that will comfort worried parents. The therapist should hold a qualification in nursing or physiotherapy. However, a minimum requirement would be a qualification in Pediatric First Aid. Duties - Welcoming parents into the Spa - Hydrotherapy - Baby massage - Water testing - training provided - Care, maintenance and cleaning of equipment used by the therapists - Recording documentation of each session - Ensuring the environment – hygiene, neatness, cleanliness, calm and friendliness - Maintaining an acceptable personal appearance Responsibilities - To be based in Kuwait - Working hours: 10 am – 7 pm (6 days a week) - Communicate with parents the plan of care and scope of treatment - Excellent verbal and written skills - Nurturing touch for the growing child - Massage techniques and methodology for new-born babies - Alert when it comes to baby conditions - Ability to share education in an accessible and understandable manner - Teaching and facilitating skills (teach parents how to massage their baby) - Recognizing infant’s verbal and non-verbal communication - Skilled to deal with infants with special healthcare needs - Methods to comfort common childhood discomforts such as Colic, Gas, Constipation, Congestion and Teething
