- Arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling;
- Making presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses and pharmacists in the hospital. Presentations may take place in medical settings during the day, or may be conducted in the evenings at a local hotel or conference venue;
- Organizing conferences for doctors and other medical staff
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administrative staff;
- Keeping detailed records of all contacts;
- Reaching (and if possible exceeding) annual sales targets;
- Must be able to define an overall strategy on an annual basis to drive sales growth in assigned area set by the Sales & Key accounts manager.
- Demonstrate an effective understanding of competitive action in the assigned area and work to develop a plan to address problem areas
- Prepare analysis and development for an overall methodology strategy on the current market and proposed to Sales & key accounts manager
- Perform as required the sales prospecting activities.
