The job holder is responsible to provide guidance to ships masters in achieving safe and timely navigation of vessels within Ports limits. To represent the Port Authority when on-board the vessel.
- Masters Foreign Going certificate Class I (unlimited).
- Comprehensive knowledge of shipping, navigation and port operations.
- Demonstrates competence and effective application of ship handling and pilotage skills.
- Actively seeks to keep informed regarding matters which may affect the day to day scheduling and methods of pilotage.
