Alignment of the Programobjectives with the overall Ooredoo strategy Rapidly changing ICTenvironment Management of executive and shareholder expectationsacross the OpCos throughout the transformation Management ofemployee, customer, and supplier expectations Constant dynamics andlocal challenges in the economic, regulatory and legal environmentsThis position will work with the Ooredoo Group and OpCo FunctionalLeadership Team and Program Team, the Manager, Revenue Accountingwill be accountable for the successful delivery of ESSTransformation Program by crafting a standardized process withinthe Record to Report process workstream. The program aims toimplement a unified way of working across Finance, Sourcing andHuman Resources with clear roles and responsibilities thateliminates redundancy and promotes efficiency. The role will ensurea coordinated approach throughout Ooredoo, enabling Ooredoooperations to execute their mandates effectively. The Manager willbe accountable to ensure seamless integration of cross functionalprocesses across streams and leverages leading practices related toRevenue Accounting and Recognition. The role will report into theDirector: Global Process and will be subject to Governance via ESSSteerCo and Program Leadership. Core Responsibilities: ProvideBusiness subject matter expertise in the field of RevenueAccounting and Recognition to lead the process design andrequirements definition for the program. Participate and provideinput in various workshops to develop detailed business processesfor Revenue Accounting and review them with stakeholders until theyare approved by the authorized persons. Provide insight andrecommendations from a functional and systems perspective on thedesign of a short- and long-term solution. Conduct review sessionsto assess the alignment of the solution design to the businessrequirements. Support the design of the unified process by activelyparticipating and providing input towards business workshops.Reviews and assures your respective business processes and ensuresthe appropriate governance is in place to manage deviations fromthe unified processes. Reviews and assures the FunctionalRequirements Specification and Requirements Traceability Matrix.Identifies areas of clarification and questions ahead of workshops.Identifies and documents requirement gaps. Participates toworkshops and clarify questions around integration points andsupport with the development of business requirements. Conductsreview sessions with Business Owners, SI to assess the alignment ofthe solution design to the business requirements. Participates toworkshops with the SI technical team and OpCos to review newrequirements (customizations) to determine whether they areacceptable. Participates to workshop (s) with SI and Businessowners to understand, review the fixes or remediation actionsprovided by the SI against the requirements review findings andprovide recommendation for approval. Reviews business designdeliverables from the SI and document findings Qualification andExperience: 8 – 10 years of Functional ManagementExperience Minimum 5 years in sector industry Experience in doingbusiness process analysis, system design and implementation,process design work. Understanding of how to manage the operationsrelated with IFRS15 financial process. Various aspects of theprocess like business process controls, reporting requirements,authorization consideration, availability of data are analyzedthoroughly while finalizing the design in the system. Soundcapability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiencesProven track record of business improvement Understanding offunctional areas and/or products associated with specificinitiative. Ability to drive change management work stream in aproject context with limited guidance. Sound business judgment toensure cultural aspirations are well integrated in performanceimprovement activities.
