Job Description

- Develop and ensure implementation of the Radiology function’s policies and processes in order to achieve the function’s objectives.
- Oversee all the diagnostic imaging operations
- Ensure maintaining satisfactory and safe performance of all diagnostic imaging equipment and ensure that quality assurance is regularly performed in all clinical areas.
- Manage the quality of the imaging service administratively and ensure Radiation Protection Responsibilities are conducted.
- Ensure clinician’s satisfaction in relation to the services offered by the Radiology function.
- Establish excellent business relationships and communication channels with a third party suppliers, negotiate equipment service contracts and develop contracting and pricing arrangements.
- Monitor the preventive maintenance of all equipment’s..
- Ensure all radiologists and technicians are following imaging protocols and assist with implementing new techniques and protocols.
- Work closely with the Technologist, Accreditation and Quality Control, to develop and/or deliver training programs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diagnostic imaging practice and technology.
- Conduct annual performance appraisal for the subordinates to review their performance.
