- Lead the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of enterprise-wide risks, including strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Collaborate with department heads and business units to assess risks associated with specific activities and initiatives.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans to address identified risks.
- Work closely with senior management to align risk management efforts with the companys strategic objectives.
- Establish and maintain an effective enterprise risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to risk management and reporting.
- Prepare and present regular risk reports to senior management and the board of directors.
- Facilitate open communication channels for reporting and discussing risk-related concerns and issues.
- Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure the companys ability to respond to unexpected disruptions.
- Conduct periodic testing and exercises to validate the effectiveness of these plans.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to risk management.
- Recommend improvements to company policy and directs the implementation of procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.
- Prepare MIS statements and reports pertaining to departmental needs to meet UPP’s and the departmental requirements, policies, and standards.
Requirements
To be considered, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in risk management, Finance, Business, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise risk management or a related role.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to risk management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders.
- Certification in risk management (e.g., CRM, FRM, or ARM) is a plus.
- Experience in the printing and publishing industry or related sectors is advantageous.
