Legal Manager

The Legal Manager is responsible for providing high-level legal expertise and strategic guidance to the organization. As part of the Legal team, he/she shall play a crucial role in overseeing complex legal matters, ensuring corporate compliance, drafting and managing contracts, closely following up with external law firms on pending litigation/arbitration, and navigating regulatory landscapes to support the company's growth and align both legal and commercial objectives..

Provide expert legal advice and counsel to the organization's leadership on various legal matters related to corporate operations..

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the interests of the company and ensure compliance with laws and regulations..

Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards, advising on necessary actions to maintain compliance..

Manage legal disputes, including overseeing litigation and arbitration, working with external legal counsel, and representing the company’s interests in negotiations, settlements, and court hearings..

Provide legal support in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions, conducting due diligence and ensuring that all legal aspects are addressed and all risks are mitigated..

Assess legal risks and work proactively to minimize these risks within the organization, advising on risk mitigation strategies..

Conduct legal due diligence for potential business partnerships, investments, or acquisitions, providing comprehensive reports to inform decision-making..

Effectively communicate legal strategies and issues to all stakeholders, both internal and external, fostering understanding and cooperation.QualificationsBachelor Degree in Law.Bar Affiliation is a plus.Master’s Degree in Law is a plus.Experience06-08 years of experience in corporate legal advisory, depending on academic qualification.Skills.
