- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team and highlight any urgent results as per procedure guidelines.
- Prepare and process clinical specimens for biomedical testing and maintain clinical records.
- Utilize a range of IT systems to manage clinical records.
- Manage inquiries efficiently and escalate to the team leader if required.
- Take responsibility for the disposal of clinical and sensitive samples and chemical waste, including sharps bins.
- Ensure that all technical standards, policies, and procedures are maintained, and escalate any concerns.
- Maintain professional standards and quality control procedures to ensure safe and efficient practice.
