KG Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Collect topographical survey data used to complete engineering projects
  
• Conduct boundary surveys
  
• Prepare legal descriptions, file plats, record surveys, and prepare easements
  
• Provide construction staking
  
• Review job specifications
  
• Ensure field work is compliant with established project scope and budget
  
• Download/process survey data to create base map/digital terrain models
  
• Work independently
  
• Upload alignments, control, and data from CADD into survey equipment for field layout
  
• Conduct research of public records in connection with land surveys
  
• Perform boundary closure calculations/traverse adjustments
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of land surveying experience
  
• Active Land Surveyor License in Illinois and Indiana or ability/qualifications to obtain
  
• Experience working with survey crews while setting clear expectations
  
• Experience with MicroStation/GeoPak preferred
  
• Knowledge of research/recording procedures at County Recorder Offices
  
• Valid driver s license
