Education: Junior estimators are typically required to have a bachelor’s degree in a field such as construction management, construction engineering, civil engineering or construction science. Some of the coursework these programs include is construction methods, estimating, construction management, construction law, construction safety and construction materials.
Some employers may prefer junior estimators to have a master’s degree in construction management or civil engineering.
