Information Technology Manager

• Lead and supervise the development of the Information Technology Strategic plan and
• ensure its alignment with IUK’s vision and strategic goal.
• Design and implement different TEL strategies and infrastructure.
• Plan and lead the digital transformation projects at the University.
• Plan for IT governance models at different levels such as ITIL and COBIT.

Budgeting and Operations:

• Develop and manage the IT Manpower Plan.
• Develop, supervise, and monitor the department’s annual budget.
• Design BCM plan and eliminate related risks.
• Analyzes business requirements for IT needs and systems.

Managing and developing the main IT sectors/departments in an educational environment:

• Computing systems such as SIS, ERP, Portals, and its related components such as storage
• and database.
• Networks of different types and their related functions.
• Classroom Technologies
• Telecommunications
• Ensure information security, and network access, and mitigate risks.
• Helpdesk
• E-Learning and LMS

Oversee and manage the different IT operations in a university setting:

• Readiness of classroom educational environment.
• Implement and maintain security measures and protocols across the University.
• Improve standard IT processes.
• Establish KPIs within the IT team and the services it provides.
• Readiness of University systems.
• Training faculty members and staff.
• Plan and implement helpdesk solution.
• Plan and supervise the implementation of the ERP system.
• Design and automate student service processes.
