What will this role achieve?

As the Supply Chain Team Manager, you will make a positive impact and deliver results to others, by supervising their development and leading by example. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will operate within the Supply Chain team responsible for warehouse & labour management, site critical metrics, team performance, and operational efficiency.

The role is not on a shift, it covers office hours Monday to Friday

What will be your key deliverables?

• Running the inbound and outbound operation (24 hours x 7 days) for the site safely, and within budget.
  
• Line management of the warehouse team to create a successful function
  
• Ensuring appropriate staffing and skill levels are deployed to deliver inbound & outbound metrics
  
• Working in close partnership with the Supply Planning and Care team to ensure key aspects of the system are well maintained and handled, working in conjunction with the sales team. (i.e., base reviews are carried out and demand reports are run and kept up to date).
  
• To ensure that operational procedures/processes are carried out efficiently and are fully aligned with health and safety requirements, site safety policy (including accident forms / near miss forms), and departmental standard operating procedures.
  
• Provide an efficient collaborative relationship with the operational planning team, manufacturing, engineering, hygiene, and external suppliers in terms of plan coordination, process maintenance and development and issue resolution
  
• To be the site Autostore super user ensuring key aspects of the system are well maintained (i.e., date codes, data maintenance etc)
  
• Ensuring the equipment used in the operation is maintained efficiently (i.e., stretch wrap M/Cs, scanning & labelling equipment, conveyors and MHE equipment).
  
• Provide site operational manufacturing cover when required
  
• Providing cover for the Supply Chain Manager
