- - Performs sustainment maintenance on 2-kW to 150-kW tactical power generators to include advanced medium mobile power sources generators involving installation and removal of generators from fixed and mobile locations, troubleshoots and rebuilds engines, alternate current (AC) systems, direct current (DC) systems, electronic control systems and other program logic controls to include electrical wiring and accessories.
- - Perform all aspects of mechanical and electronic systems troubleshooting and repair.
- - Performs inspection of generator components during their assembly, installation and adjustment phases of incorporation onto tactical power generation systems to ensure that the workmanship and materials conform to the original manufacturers’ specifications and maintenance manual procedures.
- - Ensures that all Work-In-Progress is properly documented as to the work performed and that corrective actions used, have the proper technical data references documented properly in the corrective action block and the work in progress steps.
- - Perform initial and finial inspections of all power generation equipment received and issued from the Regional Support Center (RSC).
- - Read and interpret schematic and engineering drawings and diagrams.
