The ideal candidate is a current, active member of the film industry with at least one feature film credit, vast experience in short fiction formats. He/she should leverage professional know-how and expertise on industry protocols and practices to deliver relevant classroom experiences.
Candidates should demonstrate excellence in teaching related to the Cinematography curriculum and working proficiency within a small program specialized in personal attention. He/she will also be able to develop a curriculum and teach basic color correction, and both basic and advanced camera-related courses.
He/she will be a proactive team player ready to collaborate with colleagues from diverse communities and cultures in interdisciplinary projects and shared sessions.
The position carries the expectation for research and University service in addition to teaching responsibilities. Also, we expect leadership in undergraduate programs, curriculum development, mentoring, and startups.
