ITP Media Group (ITP) is one of the largest media companies in the Middle East, with a portfolio of more than 80 brands. The company delivers quality up to date content to its readers, viewers, delegates and guests through digital, print, events, awards, video content, social media platforms and social media influencers. These brands include major international and regional names such as Time Out, Arabian Business, Harper s Bazaar, Construction Week, Esquire and GQ.

ITP Media Group is looking for a dynamic, tenacious Marketing and Events Manager to lead the execution of its stable of B2B events for some of the company s marquee titles including Construction Week, Oil & Gas Middle East and Aviation Business. An experienced events professional, you will be well versed in managing demanding clients and stakeholders, while also keeping a tight rein on suppliers and budget management. You will have a passion for big ideas and creative executions, along with a keen understanding that overall success often lies in paying attention to the small details. Knowledge in events marketing to complement a well thought out events plan is a must, as is experience and ability to manage sales campaigns and deliver to challenging targets for awards nominations and table sales.




Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


The Marketing & Events Manager will primarily be responsible for but not limited to the following:


  • Working with the Director of Awards & Marketing across the B2B portfolio of awards and networking events
  • Offer support to the group s conference division and recognize cross over marketing opportunities between the events
  • Power the continued innovation of our awards portfolio an innate sense of creativity and a hunger for new executions is a must for this role
  • Develop an annual calendar and plans for the delivery of the group s portfolio of events, and provide ongoing reporting
  • Ensure budgets are agreed and set at the planning stage, and ensure all events are delivered within budget
  • Create and coordinate detailed multi-channel marketing campaigns with the Marketing Manager, to support key pillars of each event
  • Create and maintain event websites where required to act as a knowledge hub and nomination portal for events, in collaboration with the department Marketing Manager
  • End-to-end management of events across a broad spectrum of scales, from industry-facing gala dinners seating 1,000 people to intimate round tables and networking events
  • Cost tracking, procurement and project plans, ensuring all stakeholders are clear on an event s objectives and metrics for success
  • Manage internal and external clients, as well as event partners and sponsors.
  • Build and manage a network of suppliers across verticals including AV, build and fabrication, furnishing, fit-out and entertainment
  • Ensure events are delivered to a high standard, and in accordance with the department s brand guidelines, goals and objectives
  • Identify new IPs and event formats that will work across our brands, and work with the Director of Awards & Marketing and the Deputy Managing Director to bring your ideas to life in a way that works for our audience and our business objectives
  • Have your finger on the pulse constantly identifying the next big thing across the events sector, new guest experiences, and using that knowledge to elevate and enhance ITP Media Group s event offering.
