• As the Finance Manager, you will manage a small team and help determine financial strategy and policy, arrange the appropriate funding and manage financial risks in the organization.
• Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
• Responsible for FP&A, IRFS standards, financial processes, auditing, and internal control, cost control, tax & licenses.
• Formulate departments budget in conjunction with the divisional and organizational budget, tracks expenses, and ensure adherence to the assigned budgets
• Collating, preparing, and interpreting reports accounts, commentaries, and financial statements.
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
• Perform an internal audit to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
• Reviews investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
• Responsible for the efficiency of the department in delivering all the tasks, driving improvements to existing systems and processes where possible
• Prepare, review and submit monthly VAT returns for the group whilst keeping abreast of current developments relating to tax and VAT across multiple jurisdictions
• Ensure payroll is processed on time and all deductions are accurately made and adequate cash is always maintained
