Job Description

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, e.g., economy, finance, business management, energy/Environmental policy, and relevant Sciences major.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a related field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the economics of the energy sector; macro-economic principles, supply-demand balances, elasticities etc.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the environment and climate change.
  • Extensive knowledge of environmental policy development, including preparation of policy proposals, evaluation, and collecting feedback.
  • Awareness of regional and global laws and policies governing the environment and climate change related activities.
  • Adequate knowledge of Abu Dhabi's water and energy sectors, as well as their strategic directions and developments, as well as the sectors' objectives and the needs of the key stakeholders.
