Dynamics Business Central Developer

Careersolve are working with a well-established client, a well-established practice who are consistently growing and are therefore looking for an AAT Accounts Senior to join them on a permanent basis. This role could be based in their office in Darlington.

Working Hours:

• This is a full time Monday to Friday role 38 hrs per week (Reduced hours may be an option for the right candidate)
  
• Core working hours are between 9.30 am & 4.00 pm
  
• Hours can be worked between 8.00 am & 6.00 pm
  

The Role

As an AAT Accounts Senior, you will be involved in the delivery of accounts preparation for a portfolio of some of the most innovative and exciting clients across our region. The delivery of your work will be supplemented using cutting-edge technology to enhance efficiencies and client delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities of the AAT Accounts Senior:

• Preparation of accounts from a variety of clients systems including Sage, Xero and QuickBooks Online
  
• Preparation of draft corporation tax computations
  
• Actioning queries raised by the accounts and tax
  
• Finalisation of the accounts and corporation tax computations following client meetings
  
• Providing training, guidance, and support to members of the team as required
  
• Attending clients premises predominantly across the North-East and Yorkshire
  

Skills and Knowledge Required of the AAT Accounts Senior:

Essential

• AAT level 4 qualified
  
• Proven experience of owner-managed small to medium business accounts preparation including statutory financial statements
  
• Recent general practice background, with exposure to accounts and/or tax
  
• Exceptional organisational skills
  
• Proven experience of delivering excellent client service
  
• Must have excellent IT skills, including working knowledge of Excel
  
• The ability to check work for accuracy and have good attention to detail
  
• Be able to demonstrate your initiative to solve problems
  
• The ability to travel to clients premises as required
  

Desirable

• Knowledge of accounting software packages such as Sage, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Iris
  
• Knowledge of clients specialist sectors and charities or the legal profes
