Job Description

- Operates Custodial equipment including but not limited to wet/dry vacuums, extractors, buffers, sprayers, auto scrubbers and electric carts
- Plan, coordinate, establish priorities, and supervise the daily cleaning and daily maintenance of multiple University buildings
- Supervise the daily activities of an in-house work force of approximately twenty or more full-time Custodians
- Track the monthly attendance for required improvement
- Provide basic orientation for new employees on safe custodial techniques
- Evaluate Lead Custodians’ and Custodians’ personal job performance and provide goals and areas needing improvement
- Exercises sound business practices/methods to ensure all business activities are in compliance with all corporate policies/procedures and contract requirements
- Perform monthly Quality Inspection Reviews to identify needs
- Implement, adhere and review of Custodial Trustee Policy & Procedures
- Prepare a written report for each compliance visit and the following up of any issues that arise
