- Monitoring ovens to make sure that food items are cooked according to recipe instructions
- Cleaning work areas, equipment, and utensils as needed to ensure they are properly maintained
- Mixing ingredients and adding ingredients such as eggs, sugar, flour, or yeast to other ingredients using a variety of methods such as hand kneading or using a mixer or food processor
- Preparing ingredients for use in baked goods such as measuring ingredients, grinding nuts, chopping fruit, or mixing ingredients together
