The Corporate Communications Manager is expected to build IFZA s brand identity and online presence through the creation and dissemination of multimedia content. The ideal candidate will be able to develop communication strategies and manage a communications team, with a goal of creating a positive global image of the organization to internal and external stakeholders.
- Developing and implementing corporate communication strategies that align with the companys overall business objectives and messaging matrix. This includes internal and external communication plans and media relations strategies.
- Developing and managing content for all communication channels, including owned digital assets, and offline marketing materials such as press releases, speeches, presentations and partner communications.
- Managing media relations, including working with agencies, reporters and journalists to pitch stories, and responding to media inquiries in conjunction with our appointed media agency.
- Managing internal communication efforts, including employee communications, executive communications, and company-wide communications.
- Managing stakeholder relations including working with Business Groups, Associations, Partners, Government officials, and other key stakeholders.
- Creating and publishing engaging content related to thought leadership, business operations and the wider Free Zone Industry for distribution into key international markets.
Requirements
- Full English proficiency is required
- Excellent written / verbal communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work with tight deadlines
- Creativity and ability to develop original content that provokes engagement
- Tertiary education in Marketing or Journalism or Communications
- Proven work experience as a Communications Manager or similar
