Prepares material and labor estimates.
⢠Prepares sketches of proposed work, and assists in the design and specifications of planned jobs or contracts.
⢠Establishes, assigns, and adjusts work methods and procedures to meet schedules using knowledge of
capacities and capabilities of personnel and equipment.
⢠Initiates measures to improve methods, equipment performance, and quality of work.
⢠Implement and ensure that all safety rules and regulations or policies are followed.
⢠Recommends or initiates action involving promotions, transfers, disciplinary action, and motivation of employees.
⢠Maintains records and files, including the approval of time cards and absences, and submits as required.
⢠Trains and instructs employees in new methods or procedures.
⢠Inspects work in process to insure its completion within allotted time limits and for acceptable quality standards.
⢠Coordinates with suppliers, contractors, and others concerning equipment operations or maintenance.
⢠Supervise E&I works to ensuring all specifications are followed and deadlines are met.
⢠Check, evaluate, monitor and motivate the performance, efficiency and attendance of the Line E/I Technicians
⢠Ensure personnel and equipmentâs are sufficient for completing the work on time.
⢠Supervise SAT steps with vendors of different electrical bulk items such as MV & LV switchgear, UPS panel, etc.
⢠Ensure availability of material at site on time,
⢠Coordinate with client related to construction issues.
⢠Preparing test, trial and commissioning procedures taking input from the project documents & vendor manuals
and submitting for review & approval.
⢠Testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning the systems as per project requirements and third party
inspection / class / society agencies and signing off the systems.
⢠Prepare commissioning report and submit the results to the area authorized manager for approval,
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
⢠Knowledge of operation, maintenance, and installation of E&I works
⢠Knowledge of budgetary practices and principles.
⢠Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices.
⢠Skill in operation, installation, maintenance, and installation of E&I works
⢠Skill in estimating time and materials.
⢠Skill in both verbal and written communication.
⢠Skill in applying supervisory techniques.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering with minimum of 4-5 years of progressively responsible E&I works with equipment installation, repair, and maintenance experience, which includes 2 years of supervisory experience.
