Job Description

- Installing, maintaining, repairing and replacing air conditioners and refrigeration equipment.
- Testing various types of units and electrical circuits to ensure they are fit for installation.
- Answering customer calls and troubleshooting common system problems.
- Attending call-outs.
- Completing and submitting paperwork related to works undertaken.
- Complying with safety and statutory policies and procedures.
- Facilitating on-site training for apprentices as well as supervising work performed.
- Providing quotes on new equipment.
- Reading blueprints and equipment specifications.
- Cutting or drilling holes in building structures.
- Connecting chiller systems to electrical, water and fuel sources.
- Testing components and systems according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Cleaning and replacing air filters and other malfunctioning parts.
