Category Manager

• Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize sales profitability and market share for your assigned category.
  
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify consumer trends and competitor activity.
  
• Manage the product lifecycle within your category from sourcing and selection to launch optimization and endoflife strategies.
  
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including buying merchandising marketing and sales to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable purchasing agreements.
  
• Monitor and analyze category performance metrics and make datadriven recommendations for improvement.
  
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in retail and category management.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred).
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Category Management role preferably within the Retail/Beauty sector.
  
• Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market research methodologies.
  
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive sales growth and profitability.
  
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English and Arabic (highly preferred).
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant category management software.
  
• Must be currently residing in Kuwait with a valid Iqama.
