Cake Designer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their unique vision for their cake
• Design and sketch cake concepts, incorporating client preferences and event themes
• Select appropriate cake flavors, fillings, and decorations to enhance the overall design
• Bake cakes using high-quality ingredients and following established recipes
• Sculpt and shape cake layers to achieve desired shape and size
• Decorate cakes using various techniques, such as icing, piping, and fondant work
• Keep up-to-date with the latest cake design trends and techniques to provide innovative and cutting-edge designs
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, following all health and safety regulations
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cake Designer or similar role
• Strong artistic abilities, with a keen eye for detail and design
• Excellent creativity and the ability to think outside the box
• Exceptional time management skills to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients
• Knowledge of different cake decorating techniques and trends
• Proficiency in using cake decorating tools and equipment
